The Cooperativa Le Muse is dedicated to promoting the typical products of the Rieti area and the Rieti Plain, through the production of jams, preserves, pickled vegetables, and vinegar-based products. The cooperative is not limited to the transformation and sale of products, but also manages a restaurant located in the city of Greccio, where it hosts tourists and allows them to taste typical local products.

Territory Enhancement Projects
Greccio, which took its current name in 1720 and has been part of the province of Rieti since 1972, has developed several enhancement projects. Among the main ones:

  • The Artists’ Trail: An outdoor path through the village’s alleys, decorated with frescoes depicting key moments in the life of Saint Francis.
  • The International Nativity Scene Museum: Located at the entrance of the medieval village, this museum houses artistic works from all over the world, showcasing the universality of the Nativity scene.
  • The Franciscan Sanctuary of the Nativity: 2 km from the village, this sanctuary was built around the cave where the first Nativity scene was performed.
  • The Parish Church of St. Michael the Archangel: Located in an elevated position, the church is accessible via a staircase and features 16th-century artworks and stucco decorations attributed to Gregorio Grimani.
